Why not just export CSV from Schwab?

Schwab's transaction CSV export is capped (commonly ~1,500 records), so active traders and full-year exports get truncated. It also won't reproduce the statement's holdings and balance summary. For complete, statement-accurate data — or for the millions of frozen TD Ameritrade PDFs after the merger — converting the PDF is the reliable route.

FAQ

Does it handle legacy TD Ameritrade statements?

Yes. TD Ameritrade merged into Schwab, but old TDA statement PDFs still need converting — the original format is supported.

Will it exceed Schwab's export record cap?

There is no record cap here — the full statement is extracted, however many transactions it contains.

Schwab One, IRA, and advisory accounts?

All standard Schwab statement layouts are supported, including Schwab One and retirement accounts.

Does it work on scanned or photographed statements?

Yes — scanned PDFs, faxed copies, and clear phone photos are supported via OCR, in addition to native digital PDFs. Image quality affects accuracy, so a straight, well-lit scan converts best.

Is my financial data safe?

Files are processed for conversion only and deleted automatically afterward — nothing is stored, sold, or shared. Transfer is encrypted (TLS), and we keep no copy of your statements after you download your spreadsheet.
